Leg Press Calf Raises

NOTE: Before you perform this exercise, you need to know that this exercise can not be performed with every leg press machine. Most machines have a separate platform for calf raises, but if the machine in your gym does not have one, ask an expert if it can be done on that machine.

  1. Sit on a leg press machine and place your forefeet on the bottom of the platform with a narrow stance.

2. Keep your shoulders and hips in contact with the back pad at all times.

3. Slowly flex your ankles to lower the platform (This is the bottom of the rep). Once you felt you can’t flex your ankles anymore, raise the platform as much as you can by squeezing your calves (This is the top of the rep).

4. Constantly move the platform between these two points until fatique.
